Otterly.AI
A dated analyst profile of Otterly.AI, an AI search monitor for prompts, citations, GEO audits, and paid engine add-ons.
Otterly.AI is a commercial AI search monitoring vendor. On 2026-09-07, its public site sold a combined workflow: research the prompts people ask AI search engines, run those prompts on a schedule, measure brand mentions and URL citations, then audit pages and recommend GEO fixes.
Geolyze files it with AI visibility tools because the measurement objects are prompts, generated answers, citations, competitors, and share of voice. It is not a classic SEO rank tracker.
This profile is an analyst file from official marketing, pricing, API, and MCP pages captured on 2026-09-07 and re-captured on 2026-10-26 with both billing toggles read. It is not a hands-on product test. Live dashboard behavior stays unknown.
Best fit
Use Otterly.AI when the team can work with ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot on a self-serve plan, and wants prompt tracking plus GEO audits in one vendor.
Standard or Premium is a better match when the team needs extra workspaces, Looker Studio, API, MCP, or Agent Analytics. Enterprise packaging is the public place SSO is named.
It is a weaker fit when Gemini, Google AI Mode, or Claude must be included in the base fee, or when the prompt set will outgrow Lite’s 15 prompts without jumping a plan.
What official pages claim
Public pages name these modules. Treat them as vendor-stated capabilities, not Geolyze lab results.
| Module | Official job | Evidence note |
|---|---|---|
| AI Prompt Research | Discover prompts from keywords, a brand, or a URL | Vendor-stated |
| AI Search Analytics | Mentions, coverage, competitors, sentiment | Matches Geolyze criteria if answer text is retained |
| Citation tracking | Domains and URLs cited, with position changes | Features page said daily |
| GEO audit / recommendations | Crawlability, content readiness, next actions | MCP docs name robots.txt and named bots |
| Query fan-out | Expand a prompt into related AI-search queries | Named for ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews |
| ChatGPT Ads / Shopping | Ad and shopping-card appearances | Listed on self-serve plans |
| Agent Analytics | AI crawler and agent traffic on owned domains | Standard+; docs warn not_connected is not zero |
| API / MCP | Programmatic access to reports, prompts, citations, audits | Docs at docs.otterly.ai; gated on pricing |
Prompt tracking is the module that maps to a serious GEO checklist: a stored prompt, a dated answer, citations, and a way to compare competitors over time. MCP documentation names raw AI response runs. If a demo only shows a score, ask for the underlying answer and source evidence.
Platform coverage
Coverage is plan-gated. Do not read homepage language about seven engines as the Lite, Standard, or Premium included set.
From the official pricing page, engine structure unchanged across the 2026-09-07 and 2026-10-26 captures:
- Included: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot.
- Paid add-ons: Google AI Mode, Google Gemini, Claude.
Self-serve plans list daily tracking and unlimited team members. The September pages disagreed on country support (50+ on pricing, 65+ on features); the October pricing page lists “Unlimited Countries & Languages” on every tier, which retires the printed conflict.
Whether every Enterprise contract includes every named add-on engine is unknown.
Pricing note
Captured from Otterly’s public pricing page on 2026-10-26 with both billing toggles read in a live browser; every dollar figure was identical to the 2026-09-07 capture. Monthly figures below are the monthly-billing display.
| Plan | List price | What the page showed |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29/month | 15 prompts; 1 workspace; 1,000 GEO URL audits; four included engines; no listed API, MCP, or Agent Analytics |
| Standard | $189/month | 100 prompts; unlimited workspaces; 5,000 GEO URL audits; Looker Studio; API 2,000/month; MCP 2,000/month; 200k Agent Analytics events |
| Premium | $489/month | 400 prompts; 10,000 GEO URL audits; API 5,000; MCP 5,000; 1M Agent Analytics events |
| Enterprise | Custom, from 1,000 search prompts | SSO named; custom prompts, audits, and API/MCP; quarterly GEO health check |
The annual toggle showed $25 / $160 / $422 per month equivalent, labeled 15% off. The September page had framed Enterprise as from $1,000/month; the October card states a prompt floor instead of a dollar floor. Extra +100 prompts were $99/month on Standard and Premium, not on Lite. Add-on engine fees by plan were itemized in the September capture and were not re-itemized on the October page read.
Homepage FAQ previously said a 7-day free trial while several CTAs said 14 days; the current page names no length. Trial length stays unknown. Agency Partner extras (more prompts, pitch workspaces) require an application after Standard or Premium.
Re-check live packaging before a purchase decision.
Strengths
The public plan matrix is specific about included versus add-on engines, prompt caps, workspaces, and API/MCP quotas. That is more usable than a slogan about “full coverage.”
Official API and MCP documentation names the same objects a GEO operator needs, including raw responses and citation history. Agent Analytics docs also distinguish “not connected” from “zero crawler visits,” which is the kind of detail procurement should ask a demo to show.
Unlimited seats on listed plans, with client workspaces from Standard up, fits an agency reporting workflow.
Limitations
Base plans are four engines. Claude on Premium is a large add-on relative to the plan price. A homepage that names seven engines does not mean Lite includes them.
Lite is a thin measurement seat: 15 prompts, one workspace, and no listed API. Teams that need exports into a BI stack are buying Standard or higher.
Official pages disagreed on trial length through both captures, and the current page names no length. SOC 2 was not found on the fetched official pages. Browser-capture accuracy, recommendation quality, and Agent Analytics connector setup were not independently tested. Award badges and case-study multipliers are not Geolyze facts.
Example and counterexample
A workable use is an SEO lead tracking a stable set of category and comparison prompts on Standard across the four included engines, then reviewing citations and coverage against two competitors each week.
A mismatch is a founder buying Lite because the homepage names Claude and Gemini, then expecting those engines in the $29 plan. The public pricing matrix listed them as add-ons.
Alternatives
The published Geolyze vendor profiles at the time of this page are AIvsRank, Profound, Peec AI, Scrunch, and Goodie. Use AIvsRank when the next job is measurement, benchmarking, or audit rather than Otterly’s combined monitor-and-optimize stack; the others are compared with dated captures in Best AI Visibility Tools.
Other AI visibility vendors should not be compared feature-by-feature here until they have their own reviewed profiles.

Operator checklist
- Write the job: measurement only, measurement plus GEO audits, or crawler analytics.
- List the answer engines that matter commercially.
- Check which of those engines are included and which are add-ons on the live price matrix.
- Confirm prompt count, workspaces, and whether API or MCP quotas are enough.
- Ask for a dated sample of prompt, full answer text, citations, and competitor mentions. A score without answer evidence is not enough.
- Confirm live trial length. This note is from 2026-10-26.
Common misunderstanding
Otterly markets seven-engine AI search monitoring. In Geolyze terms, much of that product is AI visibility measurement and prompt tracking. GEO audits and Agent Analytics are adjacent jobs. Buying the cheapest plan does not include Gemini, Google AI Mode, or Claude.
Verification note
Official pages were captured on 2026-09-07 and re-captured on 2026-10-26 in a live browser with both billing toggles read. Every dollar figure was unchanged across the two captures; the country/language wording and the Enterprise floor framing changed and are recorded with both dates. Geolyze has not operated an Otterly.AI workspace. Recapture pricing, add-on engine fees, trial length, and plan limits before relying on this page for procurement.
